  • The “Guided Tour of Orient Express is coming to town” (“Event”) is hosted by International Finance Centre Management Co., Ltd. (“ifc”).
  • This Event starts at 15:00 Hong Kong Time on 25 November 2021 and ends at 22:00 Hong Kong Time on 23 December 2021. Submission time is based on the time of receipt by the record on ifc’s server.
  • By participating in the Event, participants agree to comply with and be bound by the corresponding terms and conditions.
  • All participation in the Event is on a voluntary basis and participants enter the Event at their own risk. ifc will be exempt from all legal liability, compensation and responsibility that may be caused by the Event.
  • All guided tours are free for registration and participants. All participants must make reservations on the official Online Reservation System (https://xmas.ifc.com.hk/guidedtour/).
  • Each guided tour session lasts approximately 45 minutes, conducted in English or Cantonese. Participants must arrive at the assembly point (Station Office, Oval Atrium, near Jo Malone, Opposite to Shop 1079 Jo Malone) 5 minutes before the scheduled time. Latecomers will not be entertained.
  • “Guided Tour of Orient Express is coming to town” Online Reservation System Terms & Conditions
    • Each tour can accommodate a maximum of 8 participants. Places are arranged on a first-come-first-served basis.
    • By making an online reservation for the Event, all participants agree to comply with and be bound by the corresponding terms and conditions.
    • Public Tour Reservation opens on 29 November 2021 and closes 30 minutes before the start of each session.
    • Participants must provide valid e-mail addresses and phone numbers to make a reservation. Such contact information may receive emergency announcements related to the Event.
    • Each e-mail address can be used to reserve and hold no more than 1 session over the entire Event period.
    • Each applicant can only reserve one tour with maximum two participants. No ticket is required for children under 3 years old. Participants under 12 years old should be accompanied by an individual over 18.
    • By making the reservation, participant(s) certifies that he/she is not exemplifying any COVID-19 symptoms and has not been in close contact with an infected or symptomatic person during the 14 days prior to this experience. Access will be denied for guests who travelled outside of Hong Kong in the past 14 days or is wearing a home quarantine tracking wristband.
    • Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email and SMS. ifc takes no responsibility for any unsuccessful registration due to personal or networking issues.
    • Please present the email for admission and guided tour registration on the date of visit. Failure to present the confirmation may result in decline of admission, and such reservations will not be rescheduled.
    • Reschedule and cancellations are accepted 12 hours before the start of the registered session on the Online Reservation System. Each registration can be rescheduled once only.
    • Participants are responsible for verifying the information on the confirmation e-mails. ifc reserves the right to decline admission due to incorrect or incomplete information on the confirmation e-mails, and such reservations will not be rescheduled.
    • By using the Online Reservation System, you agree not to:
      • Use the Online Reservation System in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Online Reservation System or interfere with any other person’s use and enjoyment of the Online Reservation System.
      • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Online Reservation System, computer systems or networks connected to the Online Reservation System through hacking, password mining or any other means.
    • ifc shall be entitled to review and, at our sole discretion, to remove any reservation that breaches these Terms and Conditions or is otherwise objectionable.
    • In case of any act of God or other unforeseen circumstances, including Black Rainstorm and Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, ifc may change the operating hours of the Event or close it temporarily. The reservations will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
      • When the Tropical Cyclone Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement or Warning Signal No. 8 or above is issued: The Event will be closed and cancelled immediately. If the signal is lowered or cancelled by the Hong Kong Observatory before or at 2pm, the Event will resume operation in 3 hours. If the signal is lowered or cancelled after 2pm, the Event will be closed for the day.
      • When the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued: If the signal is issued during Event hours, it will remain in normal operation. If the signal is issued before the Event opens, the Event will remain closed. If the signal is lowered or cancelled by the Hong Kong Observatory before or at 2pm, the Event will resume operation in 3 hours. If the signal is lowered or cancelled after 2pm, the Event will be closed for the day.
      • Announcement will be made on ifc Facebook (www.facebook.com/HKifcmall) at least 3 hours before the start of the guided tour(s). Participants should be responsible to keep track on the guided tour arrangement updates.
    • All reservations cancelled due to emergency closure and/or unforeseen circumstances including severe weather conditions will not be replaced. ifc has no obligation to guarantee replacement reservations.
  • “Guided Tour of Orient Express is coming to town” On-site House Rules
    • Participants must arrive at the assembly point (Station Office, Oval Atrium, near Jo Malone, Opposite to Shop 1079 Jo Malone) 5 minutes before the scheduled time. The guided tour session will start on time. Latecomers will not be able to join a tour that is already in progress, and will not be eligible for any form of compensation.
    • All participants must follow on-site instructions provided by ifc staff or promoters.
    • Participants must present the e-mail or SMS confirmation upon admission. Failure to present the confirmation may result in decline of admission, and such reservations will not be rescheduled.
    • ifc reserves the right to offer the remaining places to participants on the waiting list presence at ifc mall at the beginning of the guided tour.
    • An event sticker will be provided to each participant. The sticker must be worn by all participants at all times during the Event.
    • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
    • No eating or drinking is allowed during the tour.
    • To protect personal privacy, please refrain from taking any unauthorised photography, video and audio recordings of docents and other participants during the guided tours.
    • Participants should not damage the exhibits. Any damage to the exhibits should be reported immediately to the staff conducting the tour. Participants may be held responsible for any damage made.
    • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour. ifc does not take any responsibility for loss of personal belongings.
    • Participants are responsible for their own physical conditions. Participants experiencing any discomfort should refrain from taking part in the event.
    • ifc may, without prior notice and without compensation, change the operating hours of the Event, close it temporarily or permanently, and/or restrict the number of participants with access to the event, due to capacity, equipment maintenance, or if ifc considers that the circumstances so require.
    • ifc reserves the right to deny admission, or to require a participant already admitted to leave the site, without compensation, for failure to comply with any of the rules, or if ifc considers that the circumstances so require.
    • Should wheelchair users require assistance to tour the Event, please contact our Concierge (near Lancome, Shop 1090) or call 2295 3308.
  • Special Arrangements in Response to COVID-19
    • All participants who attend the guided tour must comply with follow the latest regulations made under the "Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance" by the Government; include wearing surgical masks at all times and undergo temperature screening.
    • All participants will be advised to use LeaveHomeSafe application to scan the QR code or fill in health declaration form before entering the venue.
    • All participants are required to maintain social distancing at the event and avoid direct physical contact.
    • If you have symptoms of COVID-19, or in risk of being infected, please refrain from participating in the activity and seek medical advice immediately. You can visit the reservation page to reschedule the appointment.
    • The venue is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. Hand sanitisers are provided throughout the venue.
  • Any personal data the participants provide to ifc will not be used for any other purpose other than in relation to this Event and will not be transferred to any third party. The information collected will be erased from the database after the Event.
  • In case of any dispute, ifc reserves the final decision, including the right to suspend, change or terminate the Event and of its terms and conditions without prior notice.
  • In case of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
